In Vitro Studies

In Vitro, Tauroursodeoxycholate Exhibited Protective and Reversal Effects on 17βeg-Induced Cva-of-Clf Injury. In Mz-Cha-1 Cholangiocarcinoma Cells, Tauroursodeoxycholate Inhibited Bile Acid-Induced Apoptosis via β1-Integrin-Mediated Camp Formation in Isolated Rat Hepatocytes.

In Vivo Studies

Tauroursodeoxycholate (360 μmol/Kg, Iv) Significantly Inhibited the Decrease in Bile Flow and Increased the Activities of Serum Alkaline Phosphatase, Leucine Aminopeptidase and Alanine Aminotransferase, As Well as the Concentrations of Cholesterol, Phospholipids and Bile Acids in Rats with Phalloidin-Induced Bile Obstruction.
